What infrastructure do I need?

ZenoMail runs on Docker, so any server that supports Docker will work. You'll also need SMTP credentials (or Microsoft 365 tenant) for sending emails, and PostgreSQL for storage (included in Docker Compose).

What's the difference between ZenoMail and services like SendGrid?

ZenoMail is self-hosted, meaning you run it on your own infrastructure. This gives you complete data ownership, no per-email costs, and no vendor lock-in. SaaS services are easier to set up but cost more at scale.
